Tutorials about the Scattering Equation Builder (SEB)

Before you start

Overview of SEB tutorials

The scattering equation builder (SEB) can be used to calculate form factors for polymers build up of interlinked subunits. The subunits may themself be flexible, such as Gaussian chains, or they may be stiff, such as rods.
The subunits can then be interlinked at different points
There are four tutorials on SEB, and a quiz using the knowledge from the tutorials:
  1. Tutorial: Solutions of flexible polymers
  2. Tutorial: Thin stiff rods with SEB
  3. Tutorial: Theory for a chain of rods with SEB (optional)
  4. Tutorial: Comparing theory and data with SEB (optional)
  5. Quizz: Guess the structure using SEB
You may do all (in the above order), or you may do tutorial 1 and 2 and them jump to the quiz.
